Sustainability
Sustainability isn’t an option. It’s the process. Running a sustainable business was never up for debate. This isn’t an add-on or a feature—it’s how we exist. True sustainability takes intention, and we’re intentional about everything we do. We respect the process, and sustainability is the
process. It’s slow. It’s thorough. It’s deliberate.Shortcuts strip things down to the cheapest, most profitable version. Shortcuts pretend we don’t owe everything to the earth and the communities we work with. But we do.The earth isn’t disposable. Community isn’t disposable. The things you use every day shouldn’t be either.
What This Looks Like:
- We work exclusively with NFTPs (non-timber forest products), upcycled glass, and wild or locally grown herbs.
- We keep our carbon footprint low and plant two mangrove trees with every purchase through our partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project.
- Our shipping and packaging are 100% compostable or recyclable. No single-use plastics.
- Glass is triple-walled, hand-frosted, and made to be washed and reused.
- Stationery is printed with plant dye on handmade cotton rag paper—no acid, no chemicals.
- We build direct relationships withthe folks who source our ingredients, paying fair prices they set themselves.
We make things to be used—not just bought. Our products are designed for grounding, for daily life, for the planet. Every drop is a reflection of our ethos. Accept the process. Be the alternative.
