Who We Are

Electing whether or not to run a sustainable business was never a discussion for us. Sustainability isn’t just a feature. Sure, ensuring true sustainability might take extra intention. But we are intentional about everything that we do; we respect the process.

And sustainability is the process. It can be slow. But it is thorough. Deliberate.

We don’t believe in shirking responsibility for our effect on the planet and our communities by taking shortcuts. Shortcuts in the process means stripping things down to their cheapest most profitable version. Shortcuts mean feigning that we don’t owe our communities and planet everything.

But we do.

We know that elective sustainability is a bizarre concept as there’s nothing elective about survival. The earth isn’t disposable. Community isn’t disposable. And the things you use every day shouldn’t be, either.

This is how we give back, grow our community, and stay alive in a capitalist world that values profit over people. This is how we create something better: we are the alternative.

We are the alternative.

You deserve to know what's on your body.

+ Body oils that actually work—absorbing through layers of skin, through nerve endings, sending signals to your brain that you can unclench your jaw, loosen your shoulders, and breathe. Ground yourself so you can ground others.
+ Whole plant infusions—not just ultra-concentrated isolates that strip the plants down to a single function. Nature is complex. So are we.
+ Every step is transparent—know exactly what’s in your products and why.
+ All clean, largely local—no mass production, no cheap outsourcing. You should know the hands that make your skincare.
The alternative to mass production, to synthetic fillers, to watered-down “clean beauty” gimmicks.
